March Meet the Maker - Instagram Challenge

Coming up with new and interesting content for social media can be an ongoing challenge for local small handmade business owners whose days are already filled with developing products, sourcing materials, actual creating and selling.  This March, a few of our Handmade in Kansas City members are participating in the Meet the Maker Instagram Challenge.
Started in 2016 by Joanne Hawker, the challenge encourages participants to post daily with hashtags to tell the world more about each product and the maker behind the scenes. As of right now, there are more than 300,000 posts!

This year, Handmade in Kansas City member Karen Sullivan of Sully's Softies shared the prompts with the group and Jennifer - The Little Wing and Laura - Handmade by Lolo Z chose to participate as well.  Here are a few of their posts so far....

Day One: Favorite to Make from @thelittlewingkc

Day Two: How I got started from @sullyssofties

Day Four: Tools and Materials from @lolo_z

You can watch these business stories unfold and find new makers from around the globe all this month!  Follow and like posts on Insta...supporting small business on social media is an easy way to help
